Penguin Parade

Popular with most visitors, the penguin parade is an interesting site. Penguins in there natural habitat, waddling up the beach after a hard days fishing, you get to experience the penguins walk within a few feet of you as they hobble home to there burrows almost oblivious to your presents. A very cute sight, well worth a look.
Costs about $20.00 per/person

Getting there - you need transport to get there, if you have a car it’s about a 10-minute drive, if not you can get transport there and back for $15.00 per person.

Phillip Island Wildlife Park

A great place to visit, you can roam around the Park with many native animals from Kangaroos and Wallabies to Snakes and Birds, even Koalas, most of the animals are roaming free and you get a bag of food with your entrance fee (YOU CAN FEED THE ANIMALS). Probably the most overlooked venue on Phillip Island, travellers love it, you can spend hours there and it is very entertaining. MUST SEE!
Costs about $15.00 per/person

Getting there - you can walk there in about 30 minutes, ride a bike in 15 minutes.

Koala Conservation Centre

If you have to see Koalas, this is the place to do it. Roam around boardwalks within a few feet from Koalas.
Costs about $10.00 per/person

Getting there - About 1 hour walk and 30 minutes bike ride

Seal Rocks Cruise

The best way to see the seals, it is a 2 hour cruse out to seal rocks on a ferry, you can sit inside or outside, the boat gets right up close to hundreds of seals and you can get some great pictures. Great trip and defiantly worth it, might not be so good if you suffer from motion sickness.
Costs about $58.00 but buy through “Chill house” and get it for $50.00

Getting there - Boat leaves Cowes Pier, 10-minute walk.

Churchill Island

A small Island off Phillip Island, a small bridge connecting the two. Nice enough place to visit, have a look around and maybe get a coffee and cake at the shop. However, I would class it as, great to see if you just want to kill some time!
Costs about $10.00 (I think) but you can by a 3-park pass for $30.00, which includes Penguins and the Koalas.

Getting there - You need a car, can be done by bike but unless your a fitness freak, forget it!

Free Stuff to Do!

Oswin Roberts Reserve

One for the nature lovers, this is a nice walk in natural habitat, you will see wallabies, birds may be Koalas (if your lucky) and may be snakes (if your not). It is quite a nice walk through bush land and it comes out on the Rhyll inlet where you can stroll along the boardwalk in the mangroves.

Go to the beach

It’s an Island, there are plenty of beaches around some with surf for the more experienced beach goer and some without. (If you have never been to a surf beach, don’t go in the water, undertows and rips can be very dangerous), calm beaches on the north side of the Island are great for swimming and only a few minutes walk.

Hang out at the Chill House!

It might sound a bit strange but it’s a good option if the weather is bad or you just couldn’t be bothered. I have designed this place as a cool place to hang out, there is a big lounge, DVD’s, a few books and magazines, but most of all it is the kind of place you will feel comfortable in, so if there is a day you don’t feel like doing anything, this is the place to do it!
